Reps play a vital role in the education experience of students at university. They are the key link between students and staff to bring positive change to your educational experience. As a Rep, you can gain vital employability skills such as Leadership, communication, problem-solving and so much more! All of these can go onto your CV, where we can act as a reference for your Rep role, which will be a general reference only. 

Eligibility

Before you apply, please read below to see if you are eligible. Students need to be…

  • Studying until at least May 2023
  • Not on a full-time placement during the 2022-23 Academic Year.

Coventry University

Your School Reps (up to £300 a semester)

As a School Rep, you will be responsible for representing all students within your School on matters relating to the learning experience. You will build relationships with key staff in your School and work on initiatives to improve education for the students you represent. School Reps should be gathering information from both students they represent and Reps that fall under them in their School to stay in touch with students’ views and opinions. They will also receive a payment of upto £300 per semester.

Your Education Rep (up to £50 a semester)

As an Education Rep, you are responsible for representing students within Your Course Grouping on matters relating to the learning experience. You will build relationships with key staff pertaining to the courses you represent, delivering constructive feedback and providing solutions to improve education for the students you represent. Education Reps should be gathering information from students they represent to stay in touch with students' views and opinions. They will also receive a payment of upto £50 per semester.

Education Transformation Rep

Don't have the time commitment to sign up to be a Rep but still want to hear about Your Education opportunities and news? Sign up to become an Education Transformation Rep, there's no limit and no interview. As an Education Transformation Rep you can sign up to participate in themed micro-opportunities such as focus groups, CQEM and more. Earn digital badges for your CV with each opportunity!

Research Rep (PGRs only)

Are you part of the PGR community here at Coventry University and want to improve your Research centres?  Then sign up to become a Research Rep today!

As a Research Rep, you would be responsible for presenting the views of your peers from your Research Centre. You will build key relationships with key doctoral college staff as well as other Research Reps. You can bring positive change to the PGR experience and build on your existing employability skills and so much more.

We don't limit the number of people who can be a Research Rep and there's no interview process. Check the PGR webpage below to sign up today.
