About the event
Join in, save money and think sustainability by taking home unwanted items donated by students and staff at CU Scarborough as part of The Great Big Green Week.
Monday 26th September 2022 | Location: CU Scarborough Foyer area
Event Starts at 12pm - arrive any time after this
Event Ends at 3pm
Between Monday 19th September and Friday 23rd September students and staff can donated any unwanted clothes and textiles at Reception. Donations will then be sorted by volunteers and made available for you to browse and take home for yourself at this event. You'll find clean used clothes of a variety of sizes and ages suitable for all genders. We are also accepting donations of other textiles like curtains, bedsheets and towels, provided they are clean. All donations will be completely free to take away - so make sure you bring a bag with you to carry your new-found favourites home!
Good things to know
This event is being hosted as part of The Great Big Green Week. Any items that do not find new homes at the end of the day will be collected and sustainably disposed of by local initiative Circular Coast.
If you have any questions about the scheme or if you would like to volunteer at the event, please contact Hannah Degge at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This event may be fairly busy at times with grups of people browsing the available donations. There is on site a quiet contemplation and prayer room for your use.
AccessAble has created a guide on access to CU Scarborough - check it out here: CU Scarborough | AccessAble
If you have access requirements and are unsure if these will be accommodated, please get in touch with us at email@example.com so we can ensure every reasonable adjustment is made for you.
