An interactive works hop designed to provide midwives\, student midwives\, healthcare professi onals\, and birthworkers with an understanding of the specific needs of A utistic mothers and gestational parents during the perinatal period\, ult imately improving their experiences through a toolkit of tailored\, empat hetic care strategies. \;

Aims

Attendees will develop an appreciation of potential barriers and inaccessibility to maternity care for Autistic people and the impact this has on health and wellbeing.
To provide attendees with the opportunity to refle ct on how their setting can improve the service for Autistic people &ndas h\; in policy and in practice
