\nCoven try University and Coventry University Students’ Union invite students\, staff and members of the local community to a joint screening of The Peop le’s Emergency Briefing: a powerful\, evidence-led 50-minute film about t he climate and nature crisis in the UK.
This is you r opportunity to hear from leading UK experts\, understand why climate an d nature matter to every part of life\, and explore the positive\, practi cal action that can still make a difference.
The People’s Emergency Briefing is a 50-minute documentary (starts at 12:30pm) \;based on the National Emergency Briefing\, hel d in Westminster in November 2025. The film explores the implications of climate change on:
Health and wellbeing
Food systems and food security
The economy and jobs
National security
Nature\, communities and future gen erations
It is honest about the scale of the challenge\, but it also looks at the solutions and the action needed from government\ , organisations and communities.
