It’s that time of the year where final year students across the country will be asked to fill out the NSS. If that’s you, you’ve probably already received a number of communications prompting you to have your say. But what is the NSS all about? And why should you care about it?

What is the NSS?

The National Student Survey is, as the name suggests, a survey open to all final year students on undergraduate programmes at a higher education institute. It asks a series of questions related to different aspects of your experience to try and understand what you thought was great and what could do with a little improving.

Why should I fill it out?

As a final year student, this is probably one of your last chances to have your voice heard. At this point you’ve most likely gone through the majority of your degree, so are able to look at your experience across your time studying when taking the survey. By completing the NSS, you can shape the experience of future students. Higher Education Institutes such as Coventry University, take note of responses and helps inform decisions for the future. Of course, there’s the added incentive of being entered into a prize draw to one of five £500 Love To Shop Vouchers if you complete the survey by 28th February 2023.

So why not complete your NSS today and have your voice heard. Survey closes 30th April 2023.
