At our Welcome Fair, Scarborough comes to you! Meet local businesses and charities to find out what they can offer you as a student, including potential employment or volunteering opportunities. We're asking visitors to make their stalls fun and interactive, and some may even be giving away goodies for free!
We're expecting stalls from a large variety of organisations, such as:
- Everyone Active and Scarborough Sports Village
- Mental health organisations like the Samaritans and Mind
- Support services and volunteering opportunities like Citizens Advice and Carers Plus
- University services including Welfare, Talent Team and more
- North Yorkshire Police
- Local entertainment businesses
- Recruiters for part-time jobs
The Fair is a great opportunity to find out more about Scarborough and what the area has to offer - whether you've just moved here or lived here all your life.
Accessibility
This event is expected to be fairly busy, particularly at peak times such as over lunch. There is a quiet contemplation and prayer room for use on site.
