This is your one-stop place to access resources, come together, connect with other international students, and receive any support you may need to enhance your University experience. This community is for all students who self-define as having an international background, whether that means you have come to the UK to study or have lived in two or more cultural environments. This includes students from both within and, outside the European Union (EU).

What would you like to achieve in your role this year?

This year I’d really like to focus on giving everyone a sense of belonging, a safe space to be curious, socialise and learn or share with one another. Everyone is individual in their lived experience and part of my role will be seeing and understanding the broad scope of our community and where I can make a difference in representing students.

International Week

Coventry University Group has over 162 different nationalities amongst the student population, with campuses and teaching taking place across the globe International Week is an opportunity to celebrate everyone. International Week takes place in January each year to celebrate different cultures, learn new things, meet people and connect with the community online or in person. 45% of the CU groups students’ are international students, all with unique lived experiences and different nationalities and culture to share and celebrate.

There are a multitude of cultures represented on campus, and International Week is our way of celebrating the diversity that this brings as well as providing support for international students across campuses.
