About the event

This session delves into the world of charity and non-profit work, sharing insider information on recruitment trends, in-demand roles and how to break into the sector – whether through entry-level positions, graduate schemes or building experience via volunteering.

At this guest speaker event will be joined by:

Bethany Nightingale, Associate Regional Recruitment Manager at City Year UK, an organisation charity tackling educational inequality through providing mentoring and coaching in schools.

Ben Davies-Thompson, Regional Partnership Senior Officer at Disability Sport Wales, a not-for-profit organisation with the sole purpose of benefitting disabled people through the pursuit of sports and physical activity. Learn about Ben's role, the importance of sport for wellbeing and what a day-on-the-job looks like for Ben.

Each guest speaker will share what first encouraged them to join the third sector, an overview of their current role, and what a day on the job looks like. You will also have the opportunity to ask questions.
