Our Volunteering Fair is back for 2026, and is a fantastic opportunity to chat with local charities and non-profit organisations, find out about the opportunities they are offering and discover how you can help with their vital work. Open from 11 am until 2 pm, you can join us in the ground floor of The Hub any time during the event.
If you aren't a fan of networking or aren't sure what preparation would be helpful our 'Successful Networking at the Volunteering Fair' workshop on Tuesday 17 February 1-2pm will help you feel more confident leading conversations and create a strategy for the day.
Recent UK Government research reports that volunteering just once in a year increases employment probability for 16–25-year-olds by 9.1 percentage points; weekly volunteering raises it by 17.1 points - so you don't need to commit big to benefit!
