About the event
Coventry-based students: start your new academic year the right way by checking out your Wellbeing Fair! It's an informal event that gives you the chance to chill and chat with a host of organisations who are here to help make sure that your health and wellbeing is the best it can be during your time at University. Whether you are new and feeling a little lost, returning and need a reminder, or are just curious about the different people and places who are here for you…drop by the ground floor of The Hub anytime between 11am-3pm to find information, support and lots of friendly faces. Stalls that will be in attendance include:
Your SU Advice Service: free, independent advice and wellbeing support.
Student Success Coaches: connect to help identify and achieve your goals.
University Medical Centre: GP and medical support right on campus.
CAW (Centre for Academic Writing): support to become a better academic writer.
sigma: support with anything maths and statistics.
Lanchester Library: from academic and research services to fun social events - and lots of books, of course!
WMP ROCU (West Midlands Police Regional Organized Crime Unit): helping protect you against fraud and organised crime.
West Midlands Police - Campus PCSOs: crime prevention advice, help to keep you safe in Coventry.
BHA For Equality - Sexual Health: free and confidential advice, education, contraception and STI testing.
CGL (Change, Grow, Live): free, confidential tailored support for those experiencing problems with drugs and alcohol.
Coventry & Warwickshire Talking Therapies: free mental health service helping with general and exam stress, anxiety, sleep problems, symptoms of PTSD and other symptoms of anxiety and low mood.
Coventry University Protection Services: your very own dedicated campus security service with safety advice, safety alarms, and more.
