If you're already part of a society, you can vote in the elections or even nominate yourself to become a committee member — such as President, Treasurer, Inclusion Officer, or another key role that helps shape the society’s direction.
Being on a society committee is a fantastic way to:

It’s also a great addition to your CV and helps you stand out to future employers.

Nomination open: 16.06.2025 9am
Nominations close: 18.06.2025 9am
Voting opens: 19.06.2025 Midday
Voting closes: 20.06.2025 Midday
Results announced 23.06.2025 3pm
Here are a few recommended actions you can do to help your elections be successful.
Pre-Elections:
- Ensure you schedule some social media advertisement, you are welcome to download and share the attached image on your socials, channels, group chats, AULA etc.

- Consider whether you need to schedule Q&A events for your members
During Elections:
- Send an elections timeline reminder to all members using the website mailing tool
- If there are multiple candidates, consider whether you would like to a host a "Question the candidate" event
- Publicise your elections to the wider student population.
- If you are a current member of a society you can re-nominate yourself in the elections.
Post- Elections:
- Encourage incoming committees to begin their training early
- Publish the outcome to your members
- Prepare your handover plans including any log in details needed for the incoming committee.
- Arrange shadowing opportunities for incoming committees
- Schedule an all committee meeting to ensure successful candidates have the opportunity to chase up on any questions they have about their role
