Women Students

This community is for any student that self-defines as a woman and those who’s gender identities include ‘woman’ some or all of the time. We aim to offer students the opportunity to meet likeminded people, make friends for life and enjoy events all whilst making a positive change across campus.

Community Engagement Lead
Obonganwan Akpabio, MSc Data Science

My goal is to support and empower women across Coventry University by fostering an inclusive and welcoming community. I hope to promote gender equality through initiatives that encourage leadership, wellbeing, and personal development. I am passionate about organising events and programs that celebrate women’s achievements and create opportunities for learning and growth. Ultimately, I want every woman at Coventry University to feel valued, connected, and confident in expressing themselves within our community.
