Weekly Socials
We hold a social every Thursday at 7pm. We usually meet at Twisted Barrel in Fargo Village, although some special socials and off-site events may take place elsewhere.
Some Thursdays are simple pub socials where members can have a drink, chat and get to know one another. On other weeks, we organise activities such as beer tasting sessions, pub quizzes, pub crawl challenges.
Tastings, Brewing and Trips
During 2026/27, we are planning a society collaboration beer with our partner brewery, Twisted Barrel.
We also plan to visit local breweries, taprooms and beer festivals to discover more of Coventry and the wider craft-beer scene.
Beer remains our main focus, but we would also like to explore cider, wine, whisky and cocktails through occasional tasting events.
Special and Joint Socials
Our plans include Halloween, Christmas and St Patrick’s Day events, alongside joint socials with other Coventry University societies.
We may also arrange spontaneous pub meet-ups outside our regular Thursday socials.
