A society ran by and for disabled, neurodivergent, and mentally ill students of Coventry University!

This society is currently dormant. If you would be interested in becoming a committee member and running the society, visit the Lead a society page for further details or email societies.su@coventry.ac.uk

We hope to give you a voice during your studies that will help make your academic and social life much more accessible; if you struggle to advocate for yourself, we are here to help because you deserve to be advocated for.

Email: dnmi.su@coventry.ac.uk

We aim to:

Increase awareness and inclusivity within Coventry;
provide a supportive, inclusive space for all students;
provide a guide for support services at the university to make it more accessible for students; and,
provide low-expectation opportunities for socialising with online meets.

Links and contacts for disability support:

For more support, the university has a Disabled Student's Community ran by one of our members! More information can be found here.
If you are having trouble with your Disabled Student's Allowance, Disability Rights UK have a helpline that can be found here which can help! It is currently closed for maintenance; this page will be updated once it back up and running.
If you would like accomodation support and adjustments due to disability, get in touch with welfare.ss@coventry.ac.uk via email as soon as possible; a professional diagnosis is not required, though it definitely helps the process move along.
