DNMI society Elections 2026

These elections are to determine the next society committee for the academic year 2026-2027. Leading a society can help you gain core transferrable skills and make you more employable. You'll also be able to host and participate in different activities and enhance student experience. This is a great way to make new friends, and you are responsible for your time commitment and can determine what time you'd like to dedicate the society.

A society ran by and for disabled, neurodivergent, and mentally ill students of Coventry University!

We hope to give you a voice during your studies that will help make your academic and social life much more accessible; if you struggle to advocate for yourself, we are here to help because you deserve to be advocated for.

Every Wednesday 6-8pm in The Hub, ground floor Zone 1.

We aim to:

Increase awareness and inclusivity within Coventry;
provide a supportive, inclusive space for all students;
provide a guide for support services at the university to make it more accessible for students; and,
provide low-expectation opportunities for socialising with online meets.

If you are having trouble with your Disabled Student's Allowance, Disability Rights UK have a helpline that can be found here which can help! It is currently closed for maintenance; this page will be updated once it back up and running.
If you would like accomodation support and adjustments due to disability, get in touch with welfare.ss@coventry.ac.uk via email as soon as possible; a professional diagnosis is not required, though it definitely helps the process move along.
