These elections are to determine the next society committee for the academic year 2026-2027. Leading a society can help you gain core transferable skills and make you more employable. You'll also be able to host and participate in different activities and enhance student experience. This is a great way to make new friends, and you are responsible for your time commitment and can determine what time you'd like to dedicate the society.

Coventry University’s one and only Musical Theatre Society

We are a friendly group of students sharing a love of singing, dancing and/or acting. Our aims are to allow fellow students to express their passion for this genre of theatre, as well as having a good time and meeting new people.
There is no audition necessary to join the society – we welcome all types of backgrounds so don’t be worried if you have never performed before!
Membership Fee: £25 for the whole academic year OR £12.50 for January Starters.

Members will be taught skills during rehearsals focused on specific disciplines throughout the year. We've previously performed two productions per academic year; a showcase (Night of musical theatre) and a full musical at the end of term two (previous productions include The Addams Family & Grease). As well as a concert-style performance.
