These elections are to determine the next society committee for the academic year 2026-2027. Leading a society can help you gain core transferrable skills and make you more employable. You'll also be able to host and participate in different activities and enhance student experience. This is a great way to make new friends, and you are responsible for your time commitment and can determine what time you'd like to dedicate the society.

Coventry University’s one and only Musical Theatre Society

We are a team of musical theatre loving people hoping to create a space for everyone to share their love and passion for singing, acting and/or dancing.
There is no audition necessary to join the society – we welcome all types of backgrounds so don’t be worried if you have never performed before!
Main Membership: £25 for the whole academic year OR £12.50 for January Starters.
Backstage, Tech and Design Membership £15 for the whole academic year OR £7.50 for January starters
Social membership: £10 for the whole academic year OR £5 for January starters

Members will be taught musical theatre skills during sessions/rehearsals related to all disciplines . We perform two productions per academic year; a showcase around the end of semester one and a full musical at the end of semester two. Previous productions include: The Addams Family, Grease, Footloose, and most recently The Wizard Of Oz.
