Rep Spotlight for Semester Two is now live!

Rep Spotlight will recognise the efforts and engagement our wonderful Reps have shown – you will have the chance to nominate the student leader who has gone above and beyond in their role, and the winners for each College or School will be announced at the end of each Semester. Here are your winners for Semester 2.

College of Arts and Society

Manasseh Tobun - Manny has been a wonderful School Rep and an invaluable part of the Reps and Voice Team. From chairing Student Voice Meetings and supporting the Course Reps with gathering and voicing feedback, to attending recruitment stalls and interviewing new candidates for internal rep roles, Manny has been exceptional at taking a step into leadership and exceed in their role. Moreover, they have had great stakeholder management and created a working relationship with academic staff.

 

CU Coventry

Besem Tamfu - Besem has been an asset for their School - chairing Student Voice Meetings and ensuring feedback is recorded appropriately and actioned, liaising with reps and staff and representing her cohort in meetings.

 

College of Business and Law

Dharmarajsinh Chauhan- Dharmarajsinh is a fantastic example of leadership, determination and passion for all our students, especially for the students in the School of Management. He started as a course rep and managed to become a successful school rep after his AirBus internship. Dharam went above and beyond in his student leader role, impressed both students and academic with his professionalism and showcased great interest in improving student’s experience. A couple of Dharam’s great achievements this year encompass winning the School Rep of the Year Award, taking part in SU elections, organising an AirBus trip for the students and successfully leading numerous SU meetings. He was a big part of the change the SU and University have done this year by participating to endless focus groups, student voice meetings, conferences and so many more.

 

College of Engineering, Environment and Sciences

Sadiksha Dahal - Sadiksha confidently chaired Student Voice Meetings for both PG and UG, working collaboratively with the UG Science School Rep to ensure smooth delivery. She consistently encourages Course Reps to attend SVMs and chair in a clear, structured way that supports accurate minute‑taking. She is excellent at identifying trends in feedback and explaining them effectively in School Head meetings. Always active and engaged, they bring thoughtful ideas to strengthen rep engagement across the school.

 

Coventry University Health and Care

Venkata Kamineni - Venkata has been a reliable on chairing Student Voice Meetings, supporting PG discussions and engaging when key issues are raised. She has also supported rep recruitment stalls, helping to promote the role and connect with new students.
