College of Business and Law Officer

Here are 3 key points from my manifesto that I will be working on:

  • Boosting Employability & Career Readiness
Preparing for life after university is essential. I’ll be working with the Careers and Experience Service, SU Skills and Development, and alumni to deliver tailored networking events, skills sessions, and interview workshops for Business and Law students. My aim is to help students build confidence, develop relevant skills, and make meaningful connections that support their career ambitions.
  • Strengthening Academic Support & Feedback
A strong academic experience relies on clear communication and effective support. I’ll be advocating for clearer guidance on assessments, faster and more transparent feedback, and improved access to study resources and academic drop-in sessions. I want to ensure students feel supported throughout their studies and are equipped with what they need to succeed.
  • Promoting Inclusion, Wellbeing & Student Voice
Every student deserves to feel heard, supported, and included. I’ll work closely with the Student Voice and Wellbeing teams to create opportunities for students to share feedback, raise concerns, and engage in wellbeing initiatives. Alongside this, I’ll ensure student voice and representation remain central by creating regular opportunities for CBL students to share feedback, raise concerns, and shape decisions that affect their experience.
