About the event

The Students’ Union is offering a unique opportunity to co-create a real engagement campaign with Coventry City Council and the University. This isn’t just a project, but your chance to influence how important information reaches students across the city.

Working alongside professionals from the City Council you’ll help design clear, student-friendly content on important topics such as, council tax, voting, jobs, wellbeing, and making Coventry feel like home. Your ideas will directly shape campaigns used across official platforms.

You don’t need any prior experience — just your perspective as a student and a willingness to get involved.

Why take part?

  • Build real-world experience you can talk about in interviews
  • Develop skills in communication, creativity, and teamwork
  • Work with professionals in local government, marketing, and student engagement
  • See your ideas brought to life in a live campaign
  • Make a genuine impact on the student experience in Coventry

There are two other sessions which you can book onto below:

  1. Thursday 5 November 2-4pm (book here)
  2. Thursday 26 November 2-4pm (book here)

You must attend and participate in all three sessions to be awarded a digital badge for completing the project.

If you want to build your confidence, boost your CV, and be part of something meaningful — this is for you.

Book and help shape the student voice in Coventry.
