Black History Month takes place every October and aims to celebrate key figures and events in Black history as well as Black heritage and culture. Our film screenings aim to showcase just a tiny portion of the enormous amount of Black talent in the film world. The International Student Society has selected film options which focus on Black joy and talent rather than the horrific and traumatic parts of Black history.
