Following the return of students back on campus and the restart of societies, the Christian Union was back on the way and ready for another fun and exciting semester of events, socials and EQUIP meetings

DIAL-A-DOUGHNUT

On the 6th October, we organised a Dial-A-Doughnut Event which provides free doughnuts around TheHub. To get a free doughnut, students around TheHub would send us a question about Christianity and those part of the Dial-A-Doughnut team would go to them with a free doughnut and answer their question. This event was really successful with over 20 doughnuts being given out during the course of 2 hours

CRAZY GOLF

Like other societies, the Christian Union organises lots of socials throughout the year. Our first one of the year was a trip to Boom Battle Bar in Coventry City Centre for a game of Crazy Golf

EQUIP

Our weekly EQUIP meeting from the Faith and Spirituality Centre from 7pm to 9pm. Each week we meet up to have time to meet new people, build friendships but most importantly to come together to praise God
During October, we started a series on the Gospel of John and look closer on how to live a fruitful life and how to see ourselves in a brand new light

PRAYER AND WORSHIP NIGHT

We annually have a Prayer and Worship Night to teach of the importance of prayer and worship in the life of a Christian. The night consisted of singing, icebreakers, discussion and time of prayer
We follow each evening with a trip to Wetherspoons after for more time to socialise
