Enhance your university journey by sharing your voice and building essential career skills through Your SU!
Whether you want to shape your student experience or boost your CV for future employers, there are plenty of free ways to get involved.
Student Representation
Your voice matters, and sharing your feedback helps improve the university experience for everyone.
We have a number of ways you can be heard:
Course Representatives
Become a rep to work directly with university staff, raise student ideas, and create positive changes on your course.
Online Feedback Platform
Submit your academic or university department feedback to pass on positive or constructive comments aimed at improving your experience.
You can also share your ideas to improve the student experience. Get enough students to back your idea, and it will be put through a committee to implement.
Student Voice Events
Join focus groups, consultations, surveys, and campaigns to share your thoughts throughout the year.
Keep an eye out for events on our dedicated events page.

Your SU Skills Team
Stand out in the job market by developing key transferable skills alongside your degree.
Our Skills team offers year-round opportunities to excel your CV, put you in a better position in job interviews, while improving key personal skills.
Phoenix+ Programme
A free programme open to all students offering community volunteering, British Sign Language (BSL) courses, sustainability projects, and exclusive guest speaker sessions.

Digital Badges
Earn shareable, official credentials for your extra-curricular involvement (like Sports, Societies, or Rep roles) to display on your LinkedIn profile, and show potential employers that you went above and beyond to boost your skills and experience.
