  • Network and Nibbles Three times a semester

    This event is a great chance to drop in and meet the Skills team face to face. Find out more about the opportunities we have, how you can get involved, and how we can help you develop skills, as well as a great chance for you to meet new people

  • Alumnight Once a semester

    Alumnight brings together Alumni and Employability Experts for an evening of networking. You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions, and get insight into what to expect after you graduate and to develop your academic and professional networks.

  • Mind the Gap Once a semester

    A personalised skills audit to help you create your own Personal Development Plan to gain and develop the soft skills you need to achieve your dream job.

  • Navigating Networking Once a semester

    Build confidence in your networking skills with this opportunity to learn and practise in a safe space. You'll also learn of upcoming networking opportunities.

  • Leadership Award workshops Twice a semester

    The Leadership Award recognises your skills development and achievements through extracurricular activities whilst studying to help you stand out in the graduate employment market.

    This workshop explains the award, how to apply, and gives you a chance to ask any questions you have about the process.

  • Badges workshop Once a semester

    Digital Badges recognise your personal development through activities and skills development. This workshop breaks down the different types of Badge, how to integrate them with your LinkedIn profile, and how Badges can make you more employable.

  • Free Professional Headshots Once a semester

    A free professional photograph taken by our Student Media team to use on your LinkedIn profile and CV

  • Feedback sessions Once a semester

    At the end of each term, we host a session for you to share your experiences with us, what you would like to see and what skills/experiences you would like to graduate with.
