As Your Welfare Officer, I write to you today with a heavy heart, recognising the challenges many of us are facing amidst the escalating cost of living crisis. The financial strains and pressures can take a toll on our mental wellbeing, creating a sense of isolation and uncertainty. However, in these trying times, I want to emphasise that you are not alone.

You Don't Have to Suffer Alone

It's important to acknowledge that many students are feeling the impact of the rising costs of essentials such as housing, food, and utilities. This situation can lead to stress, anxiety, and even affect academic performance. But I want to remind you that you don't have to navigate these difficulties alone.

The Support You Deserve

Here at Your Students' Union, we are committed to supporting every student through these challenging times. Our dedicated Advice Service is here to listen, guide, and provide practical support to help alleviate some of the burdens you may be facing.

Whether you're struggling to make ends meet, unsure of your entitlements to financial assistance, or simply need someone to talk to, our team is here to offer confidential and non-judgmental support tailored to your needs.
