I'm Paulina, I'm a second year BSc Forensic Psychology student and I wish to be your next Welfare Officer!

My experience at the University helped me understand the importance of mental health and wellness. I know how stressful academia can be ! Also, being a peer mentor and mature student mentor helped me open to conversations with other students in difficult situations!

If I get the role, I would love to introduce a regular support groups, as well as wellbeing #pamperyourself week, and one to one sessions ( Mental health drop-in office) for anyone who simply just need someone to talk ! Our University provides the support but a lot more can be done and we could do it together!

I can promise as a Welfare Officer I will make sure everyone's suggestion is being heard, so we can work together to better understanding of students' well-being.
