MANIFESTO

I believe that Coventry University should be the place where students come to have fun, enjoy themselves and make the most of their university experience.
As Activities Officer, I will strive to create an engaging and stimulating environment for all students.

My manifesto contains three main goals:

1. DIVERSITY & INCLUSION: I believe that student activities should be accessible and welcoming to all, regardless of background or identity. I will work to ensure that our student societies and clubs are inclusive and diverse, and that everyone feels safe and valued. This will involve reviewing current policies and guidelines, as well as working with student leaders to create awareness campaigns and training sessions.

2. To foster collaboration: I will work to bring different groups of students together to form stronger relationships. This will be done by creating more engaging events, such as debates and quiz nights, where students from different backgrounds can come together and learn from each other.

3.To encourage participation: I will seek to make all students feel comfortable and confident in joining in with activities. This includes creating more inclusive events for all students to get involved in, and working with societies to promote their activities.

Additionally, I will try to Improve student satisfaction. I will actively seek student feedback to ensure that the activities on campus are enjoyable for all students. I will make sure that all students have the opportunity to share their opinions and that their voices are heard. As it would have made my personal experience in my starting year much better.
