Welcome to my manifesto . #Stronger

I am Hermine Coralie Mbakop, a penultimate finance student at Coventry University. I am standing to be a faculty officer because as a student representative, I place my students above anything else. I am passionate about people and more about students because we are all brothers and sisters, sharing realities and sometimes difficulties.  My campaign is about growing and flourishing no matter our current circomstances. In a current anxious state, knowing that the world and our country are facing uncertainty, I want to be the reason why students stand firm and believe in their own strengths and ability to overcome every difficulties. By my devotion and my committment, I want us to grow all together while embracing our lives at Coventry University. It seems impossible until we actually make it possible. Let me be your possibility and decide to be mine . 

My ( Our ) Goals:

- Empower my students to believe in them and in their dreams despite difficulties. My campaign message is to become stronger in the middle of the adversity at university. Being challenged does not mean you will not reach the succes you are hoping for. A concept called dream will be created and will take place once a month every wednesday. Many activities will be considered, as inviting a notable figure (an alumni, an inspiration, a successful person) to tell us why impossibility does not exist.  

- Campaign for my students comfort at university. International students faced a lot of problems this year with enrolment and many facilities, I want to be the reason why they acknowledge that our university cares about them and want them to feel supported and seen through words of encouragement and even events organised for them to know that we all care about them in the middle of everything they are facing. My support also concerns home students and any battles they can face at university. 

- Being the link between my students and the university by highlighting all advantages and facilities available to us as students at Coventry university. This will be effficient through a new notion called FBL siblings linking a first-year student to a second-year student (from exact same courses), for the first student to discover more about university according to his predecessor perspective. 

NB: I do not encourage difficulties, but my message is that sky is the limit and that nothing should stop a dreamer. I want my students to feel that we are stronger and together.
