Udhey B Jhally (Education Officer Candidate)
Hello Everyone! My name is Udhey Jhally and I am a 3rd year Maths student. As your Education Officer, I will strive to enhance the academic experience, support student success and ensure that all students at Coventry University Group fulfil their potential.
My main objectives will include:
- Ensuring that lectures and seminars are engaging, relevant, and inclusive to all students, including those with different learning styles and needs.
- Advocating for fair and consistent assessment practices, with clear and transparent assessment briefs, to ensure that students feel confident in their academic progress and are able to achieve their full potential.
- Encouraging greater student involvement in the curriculum and teaching practices by creating opportunities for feedback and collaboration with academic staff.
- Promoting greater awareness of all the services that the university offers, including mental health resources, and extracurricular activities, to ensure that students can access these beneficial resources.
- Addressing the challenges faced during enrolment (especially by international students), such as delays in processing admissions, CAS letter issues, by working closely with the university administration for a smooth and hassle-free enrolment process.
- Improving communication between the university and students, ensuring that all queries are responded to in a timely and effective manner.
I believe that by working together, we can create a better educational experience for all students at Coventry University Group. My slogan for this campaign is 'Empowering Success Together'.
