Hello, everyone, myself Sejal Chourasiya today I’m sending in front of you as a Education Officer candiate.

Let me begin by briefly introducing myself to you. I'm a diligent worker who is clean, organised, responsible, self-assured, studying IB International Business Top-Up course, serving as a education transformation representative as well as student ambassador at the moment, and I'm also excellent at listening and communicating with new peoples. And perhaps most importantly, I'm motivated. Not only engaged to doing this job properly, but also committing to making sure that the upcoming year is organised, effective, and goes smoothly. I'm running for this position because, as students, we occasionally feel as though our opinions aren't valued. My purpose is to speak up for students, make sure we have the chance to express ourselves, and preferably find solutions to any issues that might arise during the year.

Since “honesty is the best policy”, which is the cornerstone to leadership, I would make a fantastic leader. By starting and executing change, we engage people to support the change by creating a welcoming environment and clear expectations for the participants. Finally, we adopt an activity mentality to help achieve the desired objectives.

I am willing to accept the responsibility that this position entails because I am aware of how important it is. If elected as an education officer, I will ensure that the opinions of all students are heard. I want to make students education experience better with Coventry university by taking following points in action which are :

• Late enrolment support
• Delays in CAS letters
• By arranging more events for our representatives
• With more detailed feedbacks on assignments (not the repeated ones)
• and many more.

Many university students take their classes online, and this computer-based learning environment can occasionally be draining for the students. Therefore, I would like to improve the educational experiences by organising events for them digitally in the same way that we organise for offline students (games, sign language, and many more), by giving them the chance to attend an online event, join a student union, and acquire some practical skills and understanding to enhance their academic performance. Additionally, more details about the online activities being carried out by various societies and how they might participate in them can be offered to them.

Finally, I would add that every vote matters and that it is now up to you to decide on who to elect so that you may look back and think that 2023 was a fantastic year! Please vote for me to serve as an Education Officer.
