Amy Bill - Education Officer - Elections 2023

About me:

• 3rd year Public Health and Community Studies Student. - graduating in July (if i can do it, you can too!!)
• CU Coventry's Education Representative. - my passion for student experience has allowed me to develop a wide range of skills to prepare me as your education officer!
• Animal and food lover!  - If i am not studying or with my friends i am definitely having a nap with my dog Buddy! 

So, why should you vote for me?

Being a student myself, and attending many student voice meetings, i know what we want and need!  A few things i would work on, if you were to vote for me, are included below:

• TRIPS!! - Is there a better way to develop our skills and education, other than sitting in a classrom? YES! I want to provide you with more educational and fun trips, which will allow you to get a better insight into your own skills!
• Financial Support - The biggest strain i have experienced to my education, is the current cost of living crisis. I aim to work with the university and students union to continue to find ways to support you. One of my missions is to continue the free parking across ALL campuses and provide more budget friendly and high quality food options!
• Rep System - I would be so lost without the support and skills development from the rep system, so i aim to get as many people involved in it as possible! Raising student feedback is SO crucial to student experience, so i want to keep finding ways to reward all reps involved to thank them for their time!
• Enrolment and Timetables - Where do i start... The future... During my time as your Education Officer, i aim to make enrolement a more quicker and easier process. I want to provide more support for students who require CAS letters, and improve the communication between the engagement team and students. I also want to provide you with earlier access to timetables, why wait?
• Aula - As students we may spend a lot of our time on aula, so lets make it more student-friendly!

Most of all... i want to be as involved as possible. I would love to visit ALL campuses (London, Scarborough and Coventry), to talk all things education and ensure you are getting the best experience possible whereever you study! 

As Nelson Mandela once said ' education is a powerful weapon, which we can use to change the world!' So lets make change happen, TOGETHER.
