Julia Reszka  

Hello everyone! I am Julia, a final year student of Languages for Global Communications and I am running for Activities Officer.  

 I have been a part of the university since 2019, so I am familiar with how the university operates and what needs improvement. In my second year, I held the position of Activities rep and currently, I am a student ambassador as well as the President of the politics society.  

Main aims when elected; 

Opportunities for everyone! 

With becoming and Activities officer I am eager to create unity across the CU group. With multiple campuses it is just fair that all students have equal opportunities no matter where they are! I am eager to create a university-wide events, where students from different campuses are able to attend. It is well known that sports societies across all campuses have difficulties finding places to practice, which is one of my main goals to achieve. I want every student to have equal opportunities to do what they want.  

Let's bring funding back! 

It's as simple as it sounds. With being students, it is difficult to do everything that you want to, and funding is a great way to resolve this. I want to work closely with the university to ensure that funding becomes more accessible for everyone.  

Inclusion and diversity 

The university is already on the right foot to make sports more inclusive, but there is still a long way ahead to fully achieve inclusiveness. In order to celebrate the diversity, the CU group offers, I would love to create a series of events, where students are able to represent their cultures. I will also bring more awareness to the different sports, societies and volunteering opportunities the university offers.

These are just 3 examples of what I would want to achieve. I strongly believe that with hard work and determination, I create an ideal candidate.
