This year we've teamed up with Uniwristband so you can access the best Freshers events throughout September in more ways than ever before. You can choose to buy a Freshers Pass for a one-off cost starting at £20, subscribe to the Uniwristband app for £10 per month or simply buy individual tickets for any number of events to suit you. Here we'll delve into what each one involves.

Freshers Pass

You can purchase a Freshers Pass here to get access to the following events:

• UV Neon Glow Rave - Monday 11 September at hmv Empire

• The Freshers House Party - Tuesday 12 September at Kasbah

• Hip-Hop Brunch - Wednesday 13 September at Players

• 90's and 00's Throwback - Wednesday 13 September at Catch22

• Coventry Freshers Bar Crawl - Thursday 14 September across multiple venues

• Freshers Bollywood Night - Friday 15 September at Cargo

• The Juicy Freshers Festival - Friday 15 September at JJ's

The first 200 passes are £20, then it will be £25 after that.

Subscription

For £10 per month you can get free entry to the biggest nights of the week, every week all throughout this academic year. The subscription covers 6 months so the total cost would be £60, however you can cancel after month two so the minimum cost is £20. Free entry is only valid until midnight for each event, after which time the subscription will give you a discount on the entry fee.

Events will continue in September and beyond, but following Freshers Pass events are all included in the subscription:

You can downlaod the Uniwristband app here and then subscribe. The minimum subscription is two months. If you want to continue accessing events throughout the year you can keep the subscription, or you can cancel via the app at any time. Individual tickets/entry

You can buy tickets here for any of the individual events listed above from £3, or you could pay on the door on the night from £5. Paying on the door is subject to capacity so you may have to wait, and possibly not get in at all.

Please note, Uniwristband also works with a larger network of freshers events and promoters who may have Facebook groups and/or WhatsApp chats that you can join. Those chats and groups are not affiliated with or monitored by Your Students' Union, so please be wary if you choose to join them.
