What is London Pride?
London Pride is one of the biggest events in the LGBTQ+ calendar, with thousands of people from all over the world flocking to the capital to celebrate diversity, equality, and love. The event has become a symbol of acceptance and inclusivity, with participants and spectators alike joining together in a joyful celebration of the LGBTQ+ community.
One of the highlights of London Pride is the parade, which takes place on the final day of the event. What should I wear?
We encourage good trainers as there will be lots of walking! Applicants who are selected to walk in the parade will be provided with a free t-shirt to walk as a group! You should also make sure that you're comfortable and appropriately dressed for the weather. London weather can be unpredictable, so it's a good idea to bring layers and a waterproof jacket, just in case.
If you are watching in the parade and not walking in it, there is no official dress code but most participants choose to wear bright and bold clothing, often with rainbow colors or other symbols of the LGBTQ+ community.
