Attendance fraud is a growing issue and the University is seeing rising numbers of students tapping other students' ID cards to make it look like they are attending when they are not. We want to make you aware of the potential consequences of this, but also the support available to you if your attendance is being affected by circumstances outside your control.

In March 2023, Your Students’ Union voted to support the UCU (University and College Union)’s PGRs as Staff campaign. This campaign fights for PGRs to receive full employment rights such as funded childcare entitlements, state benefits, pensions, and housing stability.

Southport Sailing Trip 2022!

Last weekend (12/11/22 - 13/11/22) CUWS took a bunch of our members up to Marine Lake in Southport to try some sailing and kayaking with quality coaches. We stayed on lakeside and had a blast learning to Sail and Kayak properly as well as going to explore Southport and the amusements, a great weekend with some incredibly memorable moments.
